I almost threw out a squeeze bottle of mayonnaise because I could not get the darn top off to remove the protective covering. This worked instantly. This also came in handy with dead rusted solar lights on mason jars that did would not come off. Sure prevents a lot of frustration in the kitchen. No regrets on this purchase.
