Overall, this is a really good sturdy product for a home cook. Good ergonomics, the correct weight, versatile and well-designed. Because of some deep channeling on the inside of the handle it’s a little bit difficult to clean but not so much that you should be deterred from buying it. The locking mechanism is nothing special but who cares as long as it remains durable. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the product and use it regularly as a “go to” tool

These are hands down the best cooking tongs. As a former chef I always found consumer tongs to be absolute crap. Let alone are these strong enough to last tossing salads / grabbing neat on the grill. These things are strong enough to grip whole sheet pans or even cast iron pans. The beauty of these is when you shut them the ends are flush with one another so they are made to actually grab things. I had one, bought another, and now have 5. I use them so often I got sick of finding them dirty in the dish washer lol. So yes they are dish washer safe. The original I bought almost 8 years ago. Still going strong and the latest 3 I bought are just as good. So if you are looking for good tongs, believe me these are it. You will never buy another pair… Unless you are like me and need one for almost every day of the week.

They are easy to lock and unlock, but not too easy, i.e. they don’t lock or unlock based on gravity. They pick up anything. They last FOREVER, I’ve had a pair for at least 10 years, and rare are the meals I prepare without them. One day I got pinched, again, by a crappy pair I had, and threw them out, but then decided I wanted a second set of these in case my original pair were in the dishwasher.
You will not find better tongs, I don’t care what you pay for them.

Love these tongs….been using them for years! The scalloped, gripper edges hold on to food better than any other tong I’ve used. Yep, I could be a commercial for these guys! I have 3 pairs at home in constant use and I’ve gifted them to family and friends regularly. Just gave a new pair to my young adult son who’s building his own kitchen now. Love them!
