My dog loves this! I fill it with treats or dry kibble. I left all of the inserts in and they add some challenge to the puzzle compared to taking them out. The clear part of the ball comes apart into two pieces, make sure you hear it click when screwing it on or they may come apart if the dog is rough with it. This happened to me the first time I used it. It is very noisy rolling around on hardwood floors but I don’t mind. My dog likes to take it to her elevated bed and bounce it to get the food out quickly or she picks it up by the top hole and throws it or she steps on it and shoots it into the walls. It has held up well despite how rough she is with it. It has been really helpful to slow her down when eating and give her a challenge by putting her dinner kibble in it. Happy with this purchase.

Just got this toy, so I’m not sure how the durability holds up, but my 4 month old golden retriever puppy loves it! Kicks it all over and eats the kibble that falls out! However, when she does this, it is quite loud rolling around and banging on everything with my hard floors and furniture. But the way I look at it, at least she is entertained!

I bought this for my mini pin. He has chewed it and pieces has come off. It would be a better product if it was more durable and sturdy. He does love playing with it cause he gets a treat from it. The noise level I would say is none. It is a good product I just wish it was more durable and sturdy

My dog loved this toy but it broke the first use. I’ve taped it together but that was my cue that the quality needs more attention.

    Great product.
Not for Huskies or other strong chewers.

I have 2 dogs: 3lbs and 10 lbs. reading the slides I ordered the 3inch option. They bith really liked the ball and kept them (and me) entertained until after it was out of kibble. I mixed kibble with some freeze dried liver to make it more enticing. The only issue was that my larger dog figured out he’s able to pick it up and carry it, he either shakes it or starts trying to bite it like a ball, so if i had gone for the larger option he wouldn’t be able to pick it up. It’s also hard plastic so I’m afraid he’ll break it and cut his mouth. Keep them supervised!

About that learning curve… My big male golden retriever has learned that if you pick the thing up and throw it against the wall, more cookies will fall out.

I would have given it five stars if it were not for the toy separately sometimes.

It’s now June of 2023 and my dog still loves this toy.

It’s a little hard to put back together after you put treats inside. The instructions don’t really help. It can’t hold a ton of treats so I have to refill it often. It’s loud when it rolls on our tile floor and crashes into the walls. But our dog loves it and it seems like a good difficulty level.

Our puppy’s kibble didn’t fit through the smaller star, so I removed that disk. It took our 4 month old puppy 20 minutes to eat all of her kibble even with a disk removed. We had to shake it periodically, and I removed another disk towards the end just so she could finish. Start easy and build up if it’s for a puppy!
