My 9 week old kitten loves this toy! I don’t always turn it on for him but the wire still bounces back. He has a blast with it on and off but I noticed it may be a little easier for him OFF right now as his body is so little and it’s hard for him to keep up. Im very happy I got him this toy to keep him busy while I’m working from home

So, working two jobs I don’t really have too much time to come home and play with my kitten as much as I do on my off days… he’s a very hyperactive kitten who has so much energy!!! I got this today and instantly set it up to see if it’ll calm him down and boy does this work !!! If you have a tricky schedule and sometimes it can be overwhelming to play with your kittens after 15 minutes… this will change that. I just wish it was a little heavy so it wouldn’t move and fall over

I bought this toy to interest our lazy kitty, Socrates, a Maine Coon who seems to sleep 22 hours a day and to eat the other two. This toy is wonderfully engaging, even for Socrates who spent about ten minutes chasing and grabbing it, and trying to eat it. However, once it began to spin like the head of the possessed girl in THE EXORCIST, he got scared and ran away from it, which was all right, too; after all, he was running! The biggest problem, as I mentioned before, is that no recharge cord came with it, so it is, now, sleeping next to Socrates. The cord won’t be an issue for anyone who has one that fits it, which we don’t, unfortunately.

Little Marci immediately loved playing with this toy, and it’s nice it comes with 2 attachments because I can see it won’t hold up forever. Downsides, it’s pretty loud and annoying. And Marci keeps flipping the whole thing over in the hunt. I thought my senior kitty would be interested in at least watching it but it doesn’t hold his attention for long, although nothing does so I’m not blaming the toy. Overall I’m happy

My cat will lay by this thing and bat at it forever! I’ve had to change the batteries multiple times already she uses it so much! Only down side is that it gets squeaky when the batteries are dying.

My girl is 8 years old 13lbs, doesn’t really get down with “manual toys” lol aka a string when i’m playing with it or my hand. This is a need for us. She loves it when it’s on and semi plays with it when it’s off. She doesn’t really use the balls on the side. She broke her butterfly but likes just the ribbons on it so i still use it with her without the machine here and there
People have complained about the battery time but i’ve let it run on its automatic timer at least once a day for about a month and it hasn’t died. Which is longer than I expected.

So I’ve had this for a few months and its pretty much the only toy my cat will play with. She loves chasing the butterfly! She has easily ripped the butterfly off from the wire, so I did purchase a 3 pack of replacements. Battery life isnt that great so I suggest definitely keeping extra batteries on hand. I had this running the other day and I heard a pop sound. I figured it was the little cover on the bottom where the batteries are. I changed the batteries today and 2 of the batteries had exploded! Could be from running this thing a few hours a day but who knows. Do I recommend this toy? Absolutely. 100%. Do I enjoy going through a pack of batteries a month? No, but it keeps my cat entertained so it’s worth it!

my cats spooks very easily and doesn’t like most toys that make sound– the sound the machine part makes when the butterfly is in motion makes my cat very anxious and he wont go near it unfortunately
i was able to give this toy to someone in my family who has a very energetic cat and she absolutely LOVED it, maybe even a little too much- the only real issues is that the butterfly stick piece can get bent very easily so it’s not the most durable for a energetic and rough cat, but it does come with a backup replacement for that piece 🙂

I love that this keeps my kitty busy, but it has one speed, and never shuts off. I had one of these with another cat and it shut off after no use. This one you have to remember to shut it off or you will drain battery.
